  In case you didn't read what the project was...

So, I have a project. A few months ago after a trip to NYC I read this Post Secret.

I was mystified.

Who IS this person? What was their life like before 9/11? Who looks at that scenario and thinks "this is a new opportunity". Are there more people like that out there? Did this person have a family? Children? Anything is possible, right?

The greatest part of doing your own project is that you can do whatever you want. However much of a fan I am of rules, I do like to change them...

So. Here's a different perspective.

June 2003

How did people live in a country that was so cold?
Theo remembered the years living here when he was a teenager, wearing a down jacket and snow pants, a toque (in Canada) or hat (in the US). Since he had left, his most powerful memory had been the color of the sky in September. You just couldn’t forget that light.
He had known it was risky coming here, that some of his classmates would now, instead of being the patrons, would own the restaurants, run the businesses, occupy the bars and pubs. He didn’t care. He looked different enough, had lost the faint musicality of speech that the east coasters tended toward. 15 years away would do that to you. God. How had it already been 15 years?
